When does registration start and how much is it to play?
Registration begins December 1st, 2021 and the player fee is $115. This includes the uniform.

When will schedules post?
Schedules generally post 2 weeks prior to opening day. Opening day is March 11th, 2022.
When are try outs?
Ages 3 through 6 do not tryout. They will be assigned to a team.
Ages 7/8 - Monday, February 7th, 2022
Ages 9/10 - Tuesday, February 8th, 2022
Ages 11/12 - Thursday, February 10th, 2022
Ages 13/14 do not tryout. They will be assigned to a team.
Do we have to attend to get put on a team?
Every player is strongly urged to attend tryouts, but no. Players that do not attend a tryout will enter a blind draft and they will still be drafted.
Can I request a certain coach?
All team assignments are subject to the draft.
I need to be on the same team as ---- for transportation issues. Can we do that?
Yes. Transportation requests can be made and the league will do it's best to honor those requests. However the league cannot guarantee that all requests are honored.
When is the last day to register?
Late registration will be February 1st only and online only. A $35 late fee will apply. No Exceptions.
How do I determine what age group my player will be?
Age as of 5/1/22. For example, if a player is 5 years old and turn 6 AFTER May 1st, 2022 they will still be considered 5 years old. However, if they turn 6 BEFORE May 1st, 2022, then they will now be considered 6U even though they are actually 5 during registration.)
Can 3 year old's register to play?
Yes. Players must be 4 years old by 9/1/22.
Can my child play up into the next age group?
Yes, reach out to us via messenger or email [email protected] to adjust. This will be approved by the League Director and/or the BOD.
What equipment does my child need for baseball?
Helmet, cleats (no metal), bat, & glove.
Do we have to pay for uniform?
The uniform is included in the registration price.
What kind of bat can my child use?
Check under Site Links at the bottom of our website page www.leecountyyouthbaseball.com for information on bats.
When are games scheduled?
Futures League are scheduled primarily on Saturday mornings. 5U & up games are scheduled Monday, Tuesday and/or Thursday either at 6:00 or 7:15/7:30 (depending on age group).
When are practices?
The team Coach will be responsible for practice schedules.
When will I hear from my Coach if I have already registered?
Coaches are to contact all players by February 22nd.
