Tryouts will be for 7-12U ONLY.  All tryouts will be held at the LCYB Park Street location.

There will be a warm up area for player opened 30 minutes prior.

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY SO YOU CAN CHECK IN.  THE TIME LISTED BELOW IS THE TIME TO BEGIN THE TRYOUT:
7/8U - POSTPONED TO FRIDAY
9/10U - Tuesday, February 8th - Field #6 @ 6:00PM / Basketball Players Only 7:30PM
11/12U - Thursday, February 10th - Field #6 @ 6:00PM
7/8U - Friday, February 11th - Field #6 @ 6:00PM

What you need to bring:
Bat
Glove
Catcher's Gear (catchers only)
Cleats (optional)

The tryout will consist of 4 components: Hitting, Fielding, Throwing, and Running.  Players will be graded or timed in all categories to establish their draft position.  This will be done by independent evaluators.

Players will be taken on a first come basis.  Players will start with throwing where they will throw 3 balls at a target for accuracy points.  They will move to fielding where they will receive 3 ground balls where they field and throw for evaluation of skill and athleticism.  From there they will be evaluated on hitting 4 baseballs and we will record a running time for them as well.  Once the player completes all of the evaluations components, they will be free to leave or you can stay and watch the remaining players.
